As a Global Regulatory Reporting Product Owner in Trust & Safety Regulatory team at JPMorgan Chase, you will become part of a product management team delivering a multi-year strategic transformation roadmap. You will be accountable for end to end change delivery across Regulatory/Audit initiatives with direct impact to the existing suite of Regulatory Reports. You will also manage re-prioritization of all Technology Related change requests relating to Regulatory Legal Obligations and Audit Findings directly scoping change and identifying impact to the existing Payments Regulatory Reports.
Regulatory reporting requirements are complex, increasing in nature, and our reporting infrastructure requires upgrade to meet these requirements. We want to strengthen our management of those regulatory reporting needs and drive significant improvement around completeness, control and ability to adapt to new requirements.
Job Responsibilities
Be accountable for end to end change delivery across Regulatory/Audit initiatives with direct impact to the existing suite of Regulatory Reports (approx. 2,000)
Liaise with external and internal stakeholders to fully understand strategic plans and roadmaps for future changes across various Payments Regulatory Directives such as Tax, Anti-Money-Laundering, Payment Transactions, and etc.
Manage re-prioritization of all Technology Related change requests relating to Regulatory Legal Obligations and Audit Findings directly scoping change and identifying impact to the existing Payments Regulatory Reports
Identify Change cross dependencies across other Product Owners
Work with Global Change Centre of Excellence to assess and allocate required resources to assist with Requirements Capture, Acceptance Criteria, Developments (Feature Teams) and Testing
Acting as the main point of contact between teams and stakeholders, strategizing and presenting ideas to stakeholders, stakeholders informed of the status of the product
Work with Scrum Masters to report on change progress, resource utilization, etc.
Manage Regulatory Feature Team allocation to successfully deliver changes within the agreed timelines and prioritizations
Leading the development process, managing and prioritizing product backlog items
Assisting the scrum/product development team to meet the objectives of each sprint, adjusting and improving each iteration of the product before release, identifying areas of improvement
Participate in the overall Change Management continuous improvement initiatives; close liaison with Regulatory Operations Data Management and Governance teams
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
Previous working experience as a product owner within Payments Regulatory Operations, and/or Regulatory Reporting
Demonstrate awareness in one of the Payments Regulations: Tax, Anti-Money-Laundering, Payment Transactions
Demonstrate awareness in one of the following: Single Euro Payments Area, Wires, Direct Debits, paper based, clearings, ISO standards, SWIFT
Ability to speak Spanish essential
In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
