  Job Overview

  TE Connectivity's Product Management Teams manage all aspects of a product, from driving new product development to manufacturing to marketing. They are responsible for overall product strategy, business leadership, and capacity plans to meet sales and profit targets.

  The Global Product Manager will have responsibility for highspeed backplane connector products in the Converged Data Solutions product team. Global Product Managers act as "mini" GMs driving the overall product strategy, business leadership, and capacity plans to achieve revenue and gross margin targets that enable long-term competitiveness and success of the product line. This individual will develop and implement strategies for new business opportunities. This includes identifying growth opportunities within vital accounts and developing relationships with emerging customers and market segments.

  This role requires strong strategic thinking, experience working across regions, and a proactive solid work ethic. This role must closely collaborate cross-functionally with colleagues in Sales, Engineering, Operations, and Marketing to gain alignment and drive the successful execution of the product roadmaps.

  Articulate market trends, demand drivers, customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscapeConduct competitive analysis and benchmarkingDevelop product roadmaps that align with business strategyDefine resource requirements necessary to execute the product roadmapWork crosscross-functionallyefine sales, technology, and operations strategies and goals, aligning with financial goals. Plan product launches, including the development of marketing and sales plansBe the opportunity champion for PAC projects.Build a strong connection with the target customer engineering teamProvide demand forecast inputs to S&OP and drives needed capacityManage the P&L (sales and gross or standard margin) for the assigned portfolioTrack progress to the business plan and facilitate the resolution of gaps.

  This is a West Coast (USA) position. The ideal candidate will reside on the West Coast of the United States.

  What your background should look like:

  5+ years of product management, sales, business development or other relevant experience4-year technical or business degree requiredHighspeed interconnect product or industry experience desiredKnowledge on highspeed interconnect signal integrity and system architecture is preferredAdvanced degree (MBA) or relevant P&L management experience preferredStrong business acumen with an ability to understand technically complex conceptsCreative and innovative thinker able to provide input on the development of the product strategies and the relevant business plans with the ability to executeProven ability to multi-task and drive results in a dynamic, high paced environmentStrong interpersonal, planning, organization, and teamwork skills.Ability to influence cross functional teams both internally and externallyAdvanced presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to foster understanding and acknowledgement of critical information both up and down the organization

  COMPENSATION

  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $125,600-188,400 (subject to change dependent on physical location)

  • Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.

  • Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
