Buyer Commodity Molding/ Assembly

　　Tasks Summary & Responsibilities:

　　To lead the negotiation for local commodities with the end goal to establish the conditions of services and price with direct material suppliers based on established cost and quality targets.

　　Quarter Business review, in the sentence “Ensures that the supplier base meets TE's quality system requirements. In addition, ensures that the supplier base is meeting TE's targets for cost reduction (price), delivery and lead time. Coordinate meetings with the suppliers in conjunction with materials planning and supplier quality”

　　To develop and implement cost reduction initiatives and coordinate necessary activities with the related team working on this activity such engineering, supplier quality, manufacturing, etc.

　　Monitor and maintain CMP (Purchase price variance) results and track cost reduction ideas in TEBIT.

　　Support the inventory reduction levels through negotiation as VMI, Supplier safety stock, consignment programs.

　　Maintain the purchasing terms such price, lead time, lot size, payment terms, vendor contact information up to date as well as periodic reports issuance.

　　Govern purchasing practices and communication tools and ensure compliance according to the quality system.

　　Supports New Product Introduction Activities.

　　Lead cost modeling projects.

　　Responsible for SAP system set up/ cleanup for all purchasing applications.

　　Special Qualification, Knowledge & Skills:

　　Bachelor's/Master's degree in engineering, supply chain management, or related fields

　　Minimum 3 years experience in a similar position

　　Languages: Czech, English; German is advantage

　　Strong market intelligence to negotiate favorable deals and stay ahead of industry trends

　　Effective supplier management, assessing capabilities, and fostering performance

　　Skilled negotiator, optimizing contracts for maximum value

　　Excellent collaboration and communication skills, working seamlessly with teams and stakeholders

　　Strategic thinker, developing category strategies aligned with business goals
