Terex manufactures a broad range of equipment for use in various industries, including the construction, infrastructure, manufacturing, energy and utility industries.Terex also offers financial products and services to assist in the acquisition of equipment through Terex Financial Services.Position Overview:The key responsibility of the Global Product Director, Booms, is to manage the booms product portfolio with end-to-end accountability for P&L performance and market share, working in close collaboration with sales, marketing, engineering, operations, supply chain, finance and aftermarket teams around the world. Through a deep understanding of products, markets, customer application and competitive landscape, this position will be responsible for the booms product strategy, new product development roadmap and go to market strategy. Additionally, this position will play a critical role in SIOP, pricing strategy and operations planning.This position will require work across global time zones.Main Tasks / Responsibilities:Global responsibility for the booms product strategy, go to market strategy and P&L performance,Drive execution of strategic market share and margin growth initiatives,Lead and participate in monthly operations and strategy execution reviews to drive improved business results,Lead development of product roadmap and oversee the execution of product development through extensive knowledge and research of customer needs, market trends, customer/market segmentation, distribution channel characteristics, target market size, external environmental trends, and financial analysis,Design value proposition, value messaging and sales training content,Manage, mentor, and develop talent, including Application Engineer direct report(s),Collaborate with operations planning team to achieve alignment between go to market strategy, product road map and footprint roadmap,Provide excellent internal customer support on product specific issues and new opportunities,Support Genie SIOP process and capital investment planning,Maintain current knowledge of competitive products, projects, and strategies,Identify opportunities for differentiation of our products, services, and solutions that result in new products and offerings and support Genie's strategy of leading quality and lowest cost of ownership,Prioritize and execute on projects, considering customer impact versus available resources,Support meeting Genie diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) goals & initiatives,Perform other duties as assigned that support the overall objective of the Genie strategy, andRequires the ability to travel up to 30% and flexibility to work across global time zones.Education / Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in business, engineering, marketing or similarMaster's degree in business highly desirablePrevious experience with a global manufacturer preferredStrong English communication and presentations skills, additional languages are beneficialStrong knowledge of business financials and P&L managementSalary: The compensation for this position is $169- $253k.
