　　The Associate Engineer may be required to perform activities such as costestimating, field measurements, preparation and correction of fielddrawings, ordering material, initiation of permits, preparing operatingand maintenance instructions, data analysis, compilation and reporting oftechnical data and performance of other related duties.

　　Consideration for Associate Engineer position requires the followingcertifications or experience:Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering0-2 years relevant work experienceEngineer-In-Training Certification (Desired)Working knowledge of CAD and GIS software (Desired)Technical communicationProficient use of MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPointUtility business understanding (Desired)Valid Driver's license

　　As an Associate Engineer, you will be expected to:Collect data and gather information or documentsPerform standard computations and analysisPerform basic design tasksPrepare drawings and visual aidsAssist on other tasks such as: preparation of materialspecification/selection, technical reports, plans and procedures,drawings, permit applications, project documentation, and computer aideddesign (CAD) workObserve construction activitiesAcquire basic knowledge and develop skills in assigned workstreamsApply prescribed techniques and procedures in accordance with establishedKleinfelder, industry and client standards, specifications, andprocesses to perform assigned tasksPerform routine technical work not requiring previous experienceAcquire understanding of professional and ethical responsibilitiesExercise limited judgment on details of work and in application of standardmethods for conventional workDemonstrate sound engineering judgment

　　The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with theColorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act. Final agreed upon compensation is basedupon individual qualifications and experience. Hourly range: $33-$35
