Global Process Expert - Supplier Lifecycle Management

About the Role:
• As the Global Process Expert - Supplier Management, you will play a critical role in managing supplier support and buyer inquiries, ensuring seamless and efficient operations.
• You will be responsible for leveraging your expertise in Ariba, SAP MDG, industry knowledge, and emerging technologies to enhance user experience, improve quality, and drive compliance. Key Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Lead and manage the end-to-end Supplier Management process within the S2P domain, ensuring effective supplier support and timely resolution of buyer inquiries.
• Create and shape Supplier management strategy for Novartis for collaboration with cross functions
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize supplier management operations, improve user experience, and drive compliance with established policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, finance, and IT, to identify and implement process improvements and system enhancements.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to supplier management, and leverage this knowledge to drive innovation and continuous improvement
• Act as the subject matter expert for Ariba, SAP MDG, and related supplier management tools, providing guidance and support to end-users, and facilitating training programs as required.
• Establish and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and measure the effectiveness and efficiency of supplier management processes.

Role Requirements
Essential Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
• Relevant years of experience in supplier management, process roles, or related fields.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Ariba and SAP MDG is essential
• In-depth understanding of supplier management best practices, industry standards, and compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with emerging technologies and trends in the supplier management landscape, with a focus on improving user experience and quality.
• Proven ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams and drive process improvements in a global organization.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
