About Global Payroll Manager

  Onsite work in Sunnyvale, CA 3 days per week

  In this role, you will oversee the end-to-end payroll processes for both our US and international teams, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.

  Everyday, you will collaborate with cross-functional departments, manage payroll operations, and address global payroll concerns to drive efficiency and compliance.

  To thrive in this role, you must possess a keen attention to detail, have extensive knowledge of payroll regulations, and excel in team collaboration and communication, especially on a global scale.

We are a world class Finance team driving efficient growth for the leader in Zero Trust cybersecurity. The Finance Team provides business partnerships to our key stakeholders, builds scalable infrastructure, and ensures optimization of our financial model.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the complete payroll and timekeeping process, ensuring accurate payroll payments, reporting, and records for US and international entities.

  Manage payroll clerk and liaise with international payroll providers to address all global payroll issues.

  Ensure accurate compensation operations inclusive of bonuses, commissions, equity transactions, benefits, etc.

  Ensure operational efficiency and compliance by documenting and continuously improving procedures and workflows, including developing and maintaining internal controls over payroll processes.

  Execute monthly payroll close duties including preparation of journal entries, accruals, account reconciliations, and flux analysis for all payroll accounts and processes.

  Perform rigorous audits of payroll data, including wages, tax withholdings, deductions, and garnishments.

  Provide reporting to Finance and Human Resources on various payroll-related matters.

  Participate in special projects, analysis and ad-hoc tasks as required by management.

  This role reports to the Director of Accounting.

  

Experience:

7+ years of experience in payroll processing required and 2+ years supervisory/management experience preferred.

  Experience in ADP WFN is required.

  Experience with NetSuite and proficiency with Microsoft Office including strong working knowledge of Excel.

  Experience with Workday HRIS preferred.

  Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

  An eye for detail, robust analytical abilities, and proven project management skills.

  Excellent written and verbal communication skills and flexibility in working with third-party payroll providers across geographic regions.

  Ability to partner with cross-functional teams, including legal, HR, tax, accounting and finance.

  Minimum 3 days per week in our office in Sunnyvale, CA.

  Pay Range:

  $133,000.00 USD - $ 160,000.00USD

  The pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, or applicable laws.
