We are looking for a GLOBAL Director, IT PMO
GLOBAL IT PMO DIRECTOR, Information Technology ensures all of Company’s major IT projects are planned, approved, and implemented to support Company’s IT strategy. GLOBAL PMO Director, Information Technology further ensures that the proper mix of technical support, procurement resources, guidelines, procedures, consultants, and software are available to support multi-discipline project teams for projects in the development, planning, or implementation stage. This role will ensure sustained project management across all lines of business, drive continuous improvement and leverage Project Management Best Practices. This role is responsible for various methods and practices working on the priorities of the business to deliver value and provision capabilities as well as improving the overall agile and PPM maturity. This function has the responsibility to integrate delivery of the organization’s portfolio of projects, products, and structured work efforts ensuring all are manageable, consistent and aligned toward progressive achievement of overarching goals. The person should be able to act with the highest professionalism, exercise independent judgment and decision-making, while weighing the interests of multiple stakeholders. This role will report into the Office of CIO and will also be managing IT Performance KPI’s.
Key Responsibilities:
PMO Creation and Maturation
Facilitates among the PMO stakeholders and organizational leadership a consensus around the mission and vision of the PMO organization to foster an agile oriented mindset while building product and project-oriented capabilities aligned to value delivery
Engages senior leadership and business partners to define the PMO goals and operating model in the form of the PMO charter or mission statement
Leads the identification and development of PMO roles, team configuration and recruitment appropriate to deliver the agreed-upon PMO goals and objectives
Methodology Competency
Leads the identification and implementation of project management processes, methods, tools, guidelines and standards in order to establish a stable framework that supports all project teams and stakeholders to improve the probability of successful project delivery
Develops and guides the agile practice, putting in place the systems, processes and ways of working to sustain high performing teams
Facilitates the agreed-upon process that develops plans and prioritization by leadership and governance
Defines, manages and directs the needed end-to-end PMO work effort, which includes leveraging best practices and techniques in identifying, quantifying and tracking the realization of expected benefits
Accountable for the consistency of BRINK’s operating methodology and associated processes
Coaching and Engagement
Provides ongoing coaching and mentoring to PMO staff and leadership as needed
Builds and maintains relationships with senior leadership and key PMO stakeholders, and acts as a trusted advisor
Leads the establishment of a project management and/or agile community of practice (CoP) to facilitate collaboration and best-practice sharing among the PMO and practitioners
Instill a learning culture to continuously inspect and adapt methodology and efficiency.
Provides support to goal coaches and KPI leaders ensuring that culture, behaviors and mindsets support the organization’s values.
Ensure alignment to the cross-departmental roadmaps, create a collective plan to manage dependencies
Continuous Improvement
Regularly reviews and evaluates opportunities to improve the project management best practices in order to achieve higher maturity in project portfolio management (PPM)
Evolve and continually improve the interdependencies between business models and operating practices, integrating waterfall, iterative, and agile delivery models into one, cohesive delivery strategy to best meet the evolving business needs
Engage the organization to ensure continual feedback and identify emerging methodology and alignment needs
Performance
Assess enterprise or portfolio performance, using metrics and reporting. Supporting the organizations progression towards a value based operating model
Assures strategic alignment through prioritization, resource capacity management, key result tracking and program management to achieve strategic vision
Manages and optimizes the flow of value through the organization
Tracks and communicates key organization metrics
Escalates and tracks organization impediments, removing them where possible

Minimum Qualifications:
Fifteen or more years of overall experience in IT and business/industry
Ten years of experience in combined (waterfall and agile) environments
Five to seven years of leadership responsibilities
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information systems, business administration or related field with ten or more years’ experience in combined (waterfall and agile) environments along with applicable certifications such as (not all are required)
Project Management Institute Certification (PMP, PgMP, PfMP, ACP, DAC, etc.)
Prince2 Certification (Prince2 Practitioner or Prince2 Agile)
Scrum Alliance (CAL, CSP, CSM, CSPO, or advanced certs)
Scaled Agile Framework Certification (SAFe – SA or SAFe – SPC)
Kanban (KCP, AKT, TKP, Kanban-EXP)
Certified Coaching experience is a plus – ICF-CPP or ICF-ACC
Other Certifications: LeSS, PSM, PSPO, PAL
Professional Skills:
Experience with one or more agile or lean methodologies (Lean, Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.).
Program management skills and experience, plus significant knowledge of productivity tools with evidence of practical application (which is highly desirable).
Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to develop and communicate the strategic vision, and inspire and motivate staff.
A distinctive blend of business, IT, financial and communication skills. (This is a highly visible position with substantial impact.)
Effective influencing and negotiation skills in an environment where resources are often not in direct control of this role.
Excellent analytical, strategic conceptual thinking, strategic planning and execution skills.
Strong business acumen, including industry, domain-specific knowledge of the enterprise and its business units.
Deep understanding of current and emerging technologies and how enterprises are employing them
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute a strategic resource plan.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain IT concepts and technologies to business leaders, and business concepts to the PMO staff
