Job Description:

　　Boart Longyear, a global company in the mining and drilling industry, is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Global Collections Manager to join its Finance team. The primary responsibility of this role is to oversee a team of regionally based collection specialists who are responsible for assessing customer credit risk, recommending terms, analyzing account performance, investigating and resolving delinquent accounts, and making recommendations for the release of orders on hold. The successful candidate will develop cross-functional business partnerships to ensure that all accounts are managed effectively.

　　Position Responsibilities:

　　Set credit and collections strategy and objectives that aligns with company credit policies and business objectives

　　Develop partnerships across the business to support effective credit and collections processes

　　Provide leadership and professional development opportunities for team members

　　Manage a globally disbursed credit and collections team, supporting each Boart Longyear business segment for a high volume of customer accounts

　　Manage business credit risk and facilitate timely collection of cash from customers

　　·Identify opportunities for improvement, foster a continuous improvement mentality

　　Establish and report on operational metrics which drive operational excellence

　　Provide insight to global cash forecast and support delivery of the forecast

　　Manage multiple concurrent priorities

　　Manages receivables in an efficient and cost-effective manner, in line with internal and external policies and standards, in order to maximize cash flow and minimize bad debts for the business

　　Minimum Qualifications:

　　Requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field

　　Minimum of five years of professional credit and collections leadership experience

　　·Problem solver with a strong analytical mindset

　　Demonstrates sound decision-making principles

　　Strong negotiation, collaboration and persuasion skills

　　Excellent customer service experience

　　Proven leadership of a globally disbursed team

　　Global, mining or manufacturing background is highly desirable
