Primary purpose of this position:
This individual provides service business direction by setting business objectives and goals that align with the Riddleberger Brothers, Inc. business strategy. This person is responsible for the performance (sales, operations, profit, and growth) of each service operation within the Winchester Region. The position monitors the region’s activities and manages all aspects of personnel development.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Implements and evaluates area safety needs/requirements to provide feedback and recommendations to service leaders that align with company safety policies
Develops strategies that meet revenue and profit goals for the Winchester Service Region
Analyzes current market conditions for additional service offerings or opportunities
Analyzes business data and makes appropriate decisions
Implements formal performance management processes designed to improve team performance.
Influences the selling strategy, sales effort, and execution efforts of the Winchester Service Region
Fosters a team sales approach for all sales opportunities.
Implements and maintains company policies and directives.
Reviews the performance of each Service Business Unit; prepares reports on the progress of each business’s needs.
Controls expenses by developing the Service budget, monitoring and approving capital expenditures.
Has responsibility for the pricing and margin requirements on all products and services
Maintains quality standards by implementing quality strategy and processes across each business
Understands industry changes and responds with alternative strategies to maintain competitive advantage
Learn execute new technologies like XOI/North Boundary to foster better operations for service sales
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Directly supervises and/or manages the service leaders for each service business unit
Carries out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws
Plans, assigns, and directs strategy for each business unit
Appraises staff performance and recommends raises
Interviews, hires, trains, coaches/mentors’ employees
Addresses complaints and resolves problems, negotiates through complex situations
Execution of business strategy
Education and Experience Requirements:
7-10 years of leadership experience, customer service and operations
5+ years of experience in operating budgets, business plan development
College degree or equivalent experience
Valid/current state license preferred
