JOB REQUIREMENTS: Description Directs production and processingoperations through a team of functional managers and front linesupervisors. Ensures increasing levels of customer and employeesatisfaction while improving the efficiency of manpower, materials andmachines. Key Responsibilities Manages policy deployment in the areas ofLean Manufacturing techniques, quality, cost reduction, complete andon-time delivery, safety, customer satisfaction, employee relations,visual controls and plant performance measures. Provides leadership foremployee relations through effective communications, coaching, training,and development. Provides leadership for problem resolution tofacilitate faster improvements and improved working relationships.Manages material requirements to increase inventory turns and reducelevels on hand. Ensures compliance with company standards for costcontrol, waste reduction, quality, safety, and complete and on-timedelivery. Balances work cell capacity/loading across the plant. Providesleadership through a 12 month planning cycle. Determines operationsheadcount needs and ensures compliance with company policies. Ensurescompliance with company needs for capital investments and improvementprojects. Manages compliance with state and federal regulations.Performs other related duties as assigned. Education and/orExperience Bachelor\'s degree (preferably in Human Resources) orequivalent work experience the poultry industry. 5-10 years of priorpoultry management work experience Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesExtensive knowledge of Poultry management to include, the care andnutritional needs of chickens. Must have an understanding of theoperation and maintenance of the equipment used in egg production andegg processing. Must have an understanding of the maintenance needs ofbarns, mills, tractors, vehicles in an agricultural environment. Mustunderstand Bio-Security needs in a poultry environment and theprotection of the flocks from disease. Must have an understanding of thepreferred Animal Welfare practices in the industry. Strongcommunications skills. Teambuilding skills Ability to manage severalprojects at the same time. Conflict resolution skills.
