Determine strategies and tactics for achieving financial objectives, presenting assumptions and recommending objectives. Make sound business projections, identify the impact of budgetary assumption changes, and make appropriate adjustments. Effectively manage assets such as plant equipment, inventory, and receivables to balance short and long-term business needsRegularly evaluate business plan trade-offs and capital strategy and communicate any critical issues to the Group VP and executive team. Present trade-offs with sound recommendations for different courses of actionWorking with the Group VP, assist in the development of pricing strategies to maximize operating income for assigned business unit, considering the impact to the company as a whole, while working collaboratively with Sales and Trade Marketing. Analyze cost drivers such as commodities, fuel, resin, etc., to determine selling price. Monitor market conditions (customer, competitor, and consumer) to determine demands and opportunities and recommend action. Utilize data and analysis to foster a culture of continuous improvementLead Operation Team to direct production activities and ensure safety and compliance with quality control standards, regulatory compliance, and lease agreements. Drive operational excellence by improving the planning and score carding disciplines for the operations team. Assure organizational production objectives and customer needs are metIn partnership with Sales teams, develop strategies to grow volume for the location. Consider the impact to the business overall when evaluating potential new business opportunitiesDevelop strategies and initiatives to optimize distribution and warehouse networksEffectively lead cross-functional projects related to growth opportunities, continuous improvement, and other key business initiatives. Set clear direction for project teams and involve appropriate people and functions to design, develop, and implement key continuous improvement initiatives and ensure standard processes, tool, etc., are implemented and leveraged effectively. Meet project objectives through well-coordinated and integrated work efforts. Use a collaborative approach to ensure that new initiatives are well-executedPartner with Marketing to successfully commercialize new product launches and product improvements to the marketplace. Bring ideas from concept to marketplace launchLeads SKU rationalization to manage and maintain portfolio healthEffectively manage risk to the business unit and company by considering the legal implications of business decisions.
