JOB REQUIREMENTS: Enveloping Station -Associate takes a rubber envelopefrom stack. Take the rubber envelope, hook it around a 6 metal prongcircle. Step on a pedal to separate the 6 metal prongs to stretch theenvelope open. Take a suspended tire off a hook from a pulley system onthe ceiling, using a hydraulic lift assist/no physical lifting required,to set tire on 2 forks inside the stretched rubber envelope. Press thefoot press again to enclose the rubber envelope around the tire. Uselift again to pick up tire to pass to the Arkon station. Arkon Station-Associate places suspended enveloped tire onto prongs. Inserts an Arkoninto the tire. This helps to lock the envelope onto the tire. Use liftagain to pass to the vacuum station. Vacuum Station- Associate leavessuspended tire on hook. Insert an air house into a valve located on theenvelope, and suck as much air out of the envelope as possible so itfits tightly around the entire tire. Push along on pulley system to astaging area. Staging/Chamber area- Once all 3 staging areas are full(22 tires/each), push the tires into a long chamber oven using thepulley system. Bake the tires at 320 degrees for a little over 2 hours.Hot tires are pulled out of the chamber on the pulley system, and arepushed to the next department for further processing. ***** OTHEREXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Requirements: Punctual, dependable,on-time! Comfortable standing for a whole shift! Able to work 9 hourshifts in late July/August for busy season with potential OT onSaturdays. Not sensitive to heat or strong odors: The environment ishot.
