JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary: We are looking for an UndergroundConstruction General Laborer to join our growing team. The GeneralLaborer will be responsible for placing conduit and/or cables intrenches, splice conduit sections (install couplers), place anchors,pedestals, vaults, and more to complete construction tasks. The idealcandidate will have basic knowledge of the telecommunicationsconstruction industry but on the job training is provided. JobResponsibilities (Including, but not limited to): Assist in loading andunloading all equipment, materials, and supplies needed for daily workSafely operate tamps, jackhammers, core drills, concrete saws, and othermiscellaneous equipment Hand dig with shovels, picks, and digging barsto expose located utilities, access u/g vaults and pedestals, andcomplete trenches Place conduit and/or cables in trenches, spliceconduits sections (install couplers), place anchors, pedestals, vaults,etc. to complete construction tasks Fully restore worksite at completionof work: refill trenches and holes, tamp soil, replant plants or shrubs,place temporary asphalt on streets When required, and if appropriatelylicense and authorized, drive or operate construction equipment Assistleadership with all duties Represent WhiteCo in a positive andprofessional manner at all times Clean and maintain all company vehiclesand equipment assigned for use Perform duties in standard and high-riskareas Safely and successfully perform duties all year round Performphysical tasks required to successfully complete day-to-day operationsTravel overnight to various sites as requested ***** OTHEREXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Required Skills: Valid Driver\'s License(unrestricted) Pass a pre-employment drug test and Motor Vehicle Record(MVR) Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability tointeract with the crew, leadership, and clients Function effectively asan integral part of a team Meet physical demands lift and/or move 50 to150 pounds as well as stand and walk lengthy distances (1+ miles) overuneven terrain Ability to perform all work outdoors, subject toinclement weather conditions Desired Qualifications: Previous experienceand knowledge of underground utility construction a plus CDL preferred,or willing to obtain one OSHA certified ***** APPLICATIONINSTRUCTIONS: Apply Online: www.congruexwhite.com
