　　Position: Custodian & Program Assistant

　　Department:21stCCLC STEAM Scholars,Harrisburg, PA

　　Availability of Position: Immediately; Schoolyear 2023-2024

　　Schedule:Part-time, 15 hours per week, 2:45 p.m.-6:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday

　　Reporting Relationship: Directly:21stCCLC S2 Site Director and S2 Site Coordinator

　　Indirectly:Programs and Operations DirectorSalary Grade:$14.50/hr - 72 Non-Exempt, seasonal

　　Responsibilities

　　Position Overview: Receive and record temperatures for program meal deliveries. Warm already prepared meals in thermalizer oven. Distribute meals to cafeteria areas according to CPFB procedure. Clean restrooms, desks, tables, high-traffic areas, touch points and spills during STEAM Scholars Academy program hours. Perform cleaning duties following provided daily, weekly and monthly checklists, such as mopping, wiping walls and glass, and removing trash. Duties may include notifying supervisor of need for repairs or building damage. This position will focus on keeping the facilities used by S2 maintained, cleaned and sanitized. Other duties as assigned.

　　Requirements:

　　Confidentiality in all areas, mandatory

　　Associate Degree High School Diploma or equivalent

　　2 years of experience in this or related field

　　Must be able to read, write and communicate clearly in English

　　Must possess good interpersonal relationship skills

　　Must be a team player

　　Must be trustworthy and responsible

　　Must understand and be willing to extend great customer service

　　Valid Driver’s License and able to obtain insurance clearances as determined by The Salvation Army's insurance company.

　　As a Mandated Reporter, must provide proof of having completed training on recognizing and reporting child abuse meeting the training standards of PA Act 153 of 2014 within 30 days of employment with recurrent training required every five years thereafter.

　　Meets the Child Protection Clearances required by PA Act 153 to include PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Record Check and FBI Criminal Record Check.

　　Must have an understanding of and appreciation for the Mission of The Salvation Army.
