Under the directions of plant supervision, the Deburristwill perform any number of tasks related to the deburring, blasting,inspecting, and cleaning of precision machined components primarilybound for the Aerospace and Medical Industries. What will myresponsibilities include? Pre-wash and final wash components; Use acombination of hand, air, and electric tools to deburr parts; Follow OIIand Work Instructions; Use microscopes for deburring and inspection ofcomponents; Light inspection using gauges and boroscopes; Performblasting operations; Properly maintain routers and other paperwork;Perform rework tasks on own and others parts as directed; Performpackaging as required; Follow all clean-up and housekeeping procedures;Comply with quality and safety regulations. What key skills andexperience do I need? Ability to use and work under a microscope; Manualdexterity and good hand-eye coordination is required; Ability to readand understand documents such as safety rules, operating instructions,basic blueprints and work instructions; Basic ability to performinspections using gauges; Ability to communicate effectively with otheremployees and write documentation and paperwork; Ability to workstanding and/or sitting for long periods of time; Ability to add,subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using wholenumbers, common fractions, and decimals; Ability to occasionally liftand/or move 50 pounds; Specific vision abilities required by this jobinclude close vision acuity and ability to focus under a microscope.What qualifications should I have?
