　　Consultants please conduct a seated interview. Applicants must have 20days experience with Farm / Irrigation / Livestock work. Applicantshired must be able to obtain a valid driver\'s license as driving onpublic roads may be required. Applicants must be able to lift up to 100pounds. Dates of need are (3/12/2024 11/15/2024) This order is for workin Jerome, Idaho area. Worker will be required to perform a variety ofduties related to the production of hay, sugar beets, grain, beans andcorn. The majority of the work activities during the overall contractperiod, however, will be related to general farm work/irrigation/cropproduction. General Farm Work will include the followingresponsibilities: maintain, drive, attach and operate farmimplements/tractors/equipment to till soil, plant, cultivate, fertilizeand harvest crops; remove undesirable and excess growth from crops orfarm grounds; remove rocks from field; perform general cleanup of farmareas; operate motor bike or all-terrain vehicle in the course ofperforming duties. Irrigation duties will include the following: Handlines: connect pipes; check alignment of pipe and adjust for properwater distribution; attach lines to water supply; turn on pump; turnvalves to start flow of water; disassemble lines and carry pipes acrossfields at specified intervals; move pipes through freshly irrigatedcrops and/or plowed fields where mud may be deep at times; lift andcarry pipe sections weighing approximately 40 pounds on a sustainedbasis. Wheel lines: start gasoline engines and operate controls to movelines across fields at specified intervals. Pivots: push on switch thatactivates circle sprinkler system. Other Irrigation Duties: removepipes/wheel lines from storage and lay out/place in predeterminedpatterns in fields; lubricate, adjust, repair and replace parts such assprinkler heads and drive chains using hand tools; observe revolvingsprinklers and adjust to ensure proper operation and uniformdistribution of water; disassemble, service and storepipes/mainlines/wheel lines after irrigation season. To meet minimumacceptable performance standards when irrigating, the worker must, aftera 10 day conditioning period, move an average of at least 48 40-footsections of 3-inch pipe or 44 40-foot sections of 4-inch pipe per hourunder normal working conditions.
