Billings School District 2 is seeking General Duty Assistants for Rose Park Elementary School.DUTIES:Assist in the control and care of students in classrooms, halls, lunchrooms, and playground.EXAMPLE OF DUTIES:Monitor students behavior in halls, lunchrooms and playground; performs all necessary duties to aide children needing critical care; assists children eating lunch and performing necessary clean-up tasks. Performs related work requested or as required by supervisor.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Education: High School diploma or equivalent.Knowledge: Basic practices in effective discipline and safety awareness.Skills: Adherence to schedules.Experience: Success in working with groups of children.Hours: 10:40 a.m. to 12:40 p.m. (2 hours per day) Monday through Friday.Wage: $13.50 per hour for 120 days; then $15.00 per hour regular pay.AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER.
