DescriptionThis program manager provides strategic direction and leadership to clinical and non-clinical leaders across Systems of Care in order to ensure quality of care and care pathways for LGBT patients.What you will doPartners with administrators and clinical leaders to manage day to day operations of the UH LGBTQ GenderCare Program.Partners with appropriate stakeholders to recruit, retain, develop, and manage staff hired for the program.Responsible for the program operating budget, finances and accounting.Accountable for program's financial goals under the supervision of the Chief of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging Officer.Develop and manage internal and externally focused marketing and communications initiatives for the LGBTQ population.Responsible for developing tools or providing resources for the educational needs of UH caregivers.Facilitate system wide education and training related to LGBTQIA+ health and LGBTQ and GenderCare services.Manage overall program quality, consistent with appropriate practices, regulatory requirements, patient experience goals, and hospital policy.Lead and manage strategic plan.Acts as resource for patients, families and UH providers for the LGBTQIA+ population within the UH system and in the community.Manage and monitor the UH LGBTQ GenderCare virtual network of physician's and APP's.Manage UH LGBTQIA+ ERG (employee resource group) and community advisory board.Equal Opportunity Employer -- minorities/females/veterans/individuals with disabilities/sexual orientation/gender identity
