Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Pre-commissioning Engineer to lead and manage the pre-commissioning scope of work for our offshore pipelay projects. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of our subsea projects by coordinating and overseeing pre-commissioning activities to meet industry standards and client requirements.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Pre-commissioning Strategy: Develop and implement pre-commissioning strategies and plans for offshore pipelay projects.
Scope Management: Oversee the entire pre-commissioning scope of work, ensuring all activities are properly planned, executed, and documented.
Quality Assurance: Ensure that pre-commissioning activities meet industry standards, project specifications, and client requirements.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the pre-commissioning phase and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project delays and cost overruns.
Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, subsea installation teams, and clients to align pre-commissioning activities with project schedules.
Technical Expertise: Utilize your deep technical knowledge in subsea systems, pipelines, and offshore structures to drive efficient pre-commissioning processes.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation of pre-commissioning activities for client and regulatory compliance.
Safety: Promote and enforce safety protocols to ensure the well-being of all personnel involved in pre-commissioning activities.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization in the pre-commissioning phase.
Essential Qualifications and Education:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
