　　PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:Using the SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) system, continually monitor and control the operation of gas transmission, storage and distribution systems to maintain the operation within established parameters and in a safe, reliable and economic manner. This includes monitoring pressures and measurement as well as controlling regulation and compression. Operator is solely responsible for systems under their control with general supervision. Position will be part of a rotating around the clock schedule that includes all shifts throughout the day, weekdays, weekends and holidays.

　　Essential job functions:Maintain proper system pressures and in the event of audible alarms, responds to audible alarms and takes or directs proper action.Receive trouble calls by phone or fax and takes proper action.Maintain accurate logs, records and files.Contact various departments/ individuals regarding system operations and problems.

　　MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Experience in the operation of SCADA control system; or2- year technical degree combined with proven skills and abilities; oran acceptable combination of the two.Available to work 12-hour rotating shifts; 36- 48 hours per week.

　　PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:3 years experience in the operation of a SCADA control system.Experience in gas systems operations or controls.
