Job Description:

As the primary liaison between key program stakeholders and technical resources, the Functional Analyst, Advisor will be responsible for capturing needs accurately, ensuring technical resources understand these needs and ensuring the solution meets program needs. Responsible for providing on going analysis and identifying issues related to a variety of non-technical and technical project deliverables.

Healthcare Measures Key Responsibilities and Skills:

Review and interpret Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS) and CMS Core Set measure specifications.

Develop and maintain internal measure specifications and related business requirements documentation for HEDIS and CMS Core Set measures.

Develop and maintain internal measure specifications and related business requirements documentation for GDIT developed Healthcare measures.

General Key Responsibilities and Skills:

Act as the Product Owner/Primary Point-of-Contact for assigned programs, projects, and applications.

Exceptional ability to gather, understand, and utilize disparate information to develop requirements, inform decisions, and make recommendations.

Detailed and thorough in information gathering and documentation utilizing Business Analysis best practices.

Superior analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly approach ambiguous business needs/problems.

Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage several projects/deliverables simultaneously while remaining flexible with changing priorities.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively to guide cross-functional teams in analyzing business, solution, and technical needs in a data/analytics heavy project environment.

Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with strong personalities and the ability to summarize detailed information in an organized, concise manner.

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel including the use of Pivot Tables to perform simple data analysis.

Required Qualifications:

10+ years experience

5+ years experience with Healthcare Analytics including claims data analysis and report design

5+ years experience with healthcare quality measures developed by national and federal organizations (i.e., HEDIS, CMS Core Set, etc.).

BA/BS - Ideally a Management Information Systems or related degree that mixes both business and technical course-work.

Nice to Have:

Basic understanding on conditional logic (i.e., if/then/else, and/or, etc.).

Experience using Jira for project management and Confluence for documentation management.

The likely salary range for this position is $96,034 - $126,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

Paid leave and paid holidays are prorated based on the employee’s date of hire. The GDIT Paid Family Leave program provides a total of up to 160 hours of paid leave in a rolling 12 month period for eligible employees.
