About the team
The Finance Chief Operating Office (COO) Team is a driving factor in delivering the value of Global Finance to Citi’s businesses, functions, stakeholders, and regulators. With responsibility across Finance for Transformation Initiatives, Risk & Controls Standards and Oversight, Regulatory Engagement Standards, and Finance Organization Optimization and Budgeting, the Finance COO enables the organization to execute on Finance’s vision and strategy.
About the role
The Finance Transformation Associate is a key member of the Finance Chief Operating Office. Working with partners throughout the firm, you will develop and implement reports and presentations to be delivered to regulators and the Board. This role requires thought leadership, strong people and communication skills and plays a part in developing materials that keep stakeholders informed about key Finance COO initiatives and expectations. As the Finance Transformation Program involves tracking metrics, execution status and highly detailed content, the Finance Transformation Associate will evaluate moderately complex spreadsheets and source materials to develop presentations and communications that tell a consistent story. This requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. This role reports to the Finance COO Stakeholder Strategy Director.
Responsibilities:
Contributes to the drafting, design, roll-out and project management of Finance Transformation reports delivered to regulatory, executive and inter-team employee audiences:
Participates in building and maintaining narratives that explain Finance Transformation goals, iterative progress and the underlying benefits to the firm for use in regulatory reports and executive presentations.
Participates in formulating and setting strategic direction for the editorial development process and templates for Finance Transformation narrative and metrics; maintains version control.
Assists in developing PowerPoint decks, talking points, runs of show and other coordination materials.
Assists in setting standard practices for the creation of reports and presentations, coordinating across a matrix organizational structure within Finance.
Plays a part in setting and operating necessary forums to support the planning, drafting and reviewing of content across a wide network of subject-matter experts and stakeholders.
Designs and implements solutions to keep a large, matrix-network of team members informed, including building and maintaining SharePoint Online intranet sites, email newsletters, tactics leveraging Microsoft Teams or other offerings within Citi’s internal network; follows enterprise-wide standards and guidance.
Responds to feedback and adjusting reports and presentations accordingly.
Reports project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels as needed—escalating issues as necessary based on project work plans.
Resolves complex problems or transactions, where expertise is required to interpret policies, guidelines or processes.
Performs other duties and functions as assigned.
Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
Can exercise independence of judgment and autonomy.
Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:
5-8+ years of relevant experience, within the financial services industry preferred.
Excellent relational and communication skills.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills
Education:
Bachelor’s degree.
