Description

　　Robert Half Finance and Accounting has partnered with a growing company in Plano to identify a QuickBooks Bookkeeper. The QuickBooks Bookkeeper must have 5 + years full charge bookkeeping experience and will be responsible for the following:

　　Reviewing and analyzing invoices, processing payments, posting to accounts payable and receivables.

　　Ensuring timely and accurate payments to and maintaining communications with vendors.

　　Processing of semi-monthly payroll.

　　Monitoring bank accounts daily to ensure availability of funds

　　Preparing journal entries for various allocations and accruals. Allocating and recording funds to correct cost centers and general ledger accounts.

　　Matching payments to corresponding invoice back-up documentation.

　　Performing bank account reconciliations.

　　Develops system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; defining bookkeeping policies and procedures.

　　Maintains subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions.

　　Balances subsidiary accounts by reconciling entries.

　　Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary account summaries.

　　Balances general ledger by preparing a trial balance; reconciling entries.

　　Maintains historical records by filing documents.

　　Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.

　　Requirements

　　Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience preferred

　　5 + years of experience in all phases of accounting: A/R, A/P, G/L, P & L

　　Strong critical thinking skills, adaptable, detail oriented

　　Must have intermediate Microsoft Excel Skills including VLOOKUPS and Pivot tables

　　QuickBooks online preferred

　　Strong verbal and written skills

　　Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and honesty
