Our client is on a quest to find their new Full Charge Bookkeeper. The Full Charge Bookkeeper will handle bank reconciliations, journal entries, month-end close, full cycle A/P, and payroll. At times, the Full Charge Bookkeeper might also be asked to oversee the clerical staff. Your responsibilities in this role
Prepare subcontractor 1099's, and any other IRS year-end requirement
Clarify business license and gross receipts
Knowledgeable in credit card management and reconciliation
Support monthly accounting close
Form cash account journal entries including loans, taxes, bank fees, 401(k) deductions, etc.
Alternative special projects as requested
Accounts Payable
Arrange sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments
Handle Accounts Receivable
Draw up monthly reconciliations
Requirements
Deep understanding of ADP - Payroll
Foundational knowledge in Accounts Payable (AP)
Process Bi-weekly Payroll experience preferred
QuickBooks experience
Self-starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems
Vow to meet business deadlines
Proven analytical skills with ability to implement solutions and vendor management experience with good organizational skills
Relevant accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferredHigh attention to detail
Strong communication skills and able to receive criticism well
Experience working in a dynamic and changing company environment a plus
Strong organization skills
