About F.T Registered Nurse (Wound Care)

  The Registered Nurse provides self-directed, effective nursing care to groups of patients in accordance with Division of Nursing standards and pursuant to Florida Department of Professional Regulation, Chapter 464.003 (3) (a): “Practice of professional nursing means the performance of those acts requiring substantial specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skill based upon applied practices.” Works under the direction of the Wound Institute Director/Clinical Nurse Manager to provide patient care, works collaboratively to accomplish the goals of quality care.

  Qualifications :

  Associate Degree in Nursing– BSN or Master’s Degree preferred

  Experience:

  Two (2) years’ experience in a Wound Treatment Center. Strong team building skills.

  Special License/Certifications:

  Current Florida RN license and BLS

  ACLS and Certification in Wound Care preferred

  Light to medium duty work. May be exposed to infectious and contagious diseases. May be exposed to blood and body fluids. Regularly exposed to risk of blood borne diseases.
