GREENFIELD Front End Lead Job Summary Oversees the frontline in theabsence of the Front End Manager. Coaches, teaches and develops allfrontline team members to ensure excellent member service. The Front EndLead teaches, develops and motivates all team members for the successfulexecution of membership programs and initiatives as well as front lineoperations. The FEL is responsible for monitoring, driving and coachingfor desired membership/member experience goals and results. Ensures thatall membership products are offered and Member orders/requests areprocessed in a positive, timely, and efficient manner. The FEL delegateswork, monitors staffing and compliance with operational standards.Provides excellent customer service to our Members. Qualifications Priorleadership experience preferred. Prior Membership or sales knowledge andexperience preferred. Prior cashier experience preferred. Basic mathskills required. Primary Tasks, Responsibilities, and KeyAccountabilities Supervises the front line (including cashiers, SCO, andmembership desk) in the absence of the Front End Manager. Models andprovides excellent Member service, while coaching, teaching anddeveloping team members to do the same. Drives membership metricsthrough acquisition, retention, loyalty and experience programs. Drivesmember engagement, speed, and productivity on the front end. Trains,coaches, motivates, recognizes, and provides input on evaluation offrontline Team Members on tasks, responsibilities and expectationsdefined by position, including Member engagement, service, andmembership metrics. Utilizes Cashier Observation Forms, CashierProductivity Boards, and membership metrics reports to drive performanceand Member engagement. Performs front end responsibilities including butnot limited to, closing through POS, and Member escalated serviceissues, etc. Acts with sense of urgency to ensure Members are assistedin a timely and efficient manner. Acts as a backup for cashiers andMembership Sales Ambassadors when needed. Scans all club merchandisethrough a point-of-sale system to ensure accurate inventory counts andaccurate purchase totals for Members. Loads shopping carts whennecessary. Manages self-checkout lanes and scan and pan lanes. AssistsMembers with operations and technical difficulties. Collects paymentsvia cash, check, or other charge payments from customers. Issuesreceipts, refunds, credits, or change due to Members. Stays up-to-dateon all merchandise promotions, advertisements, and product information.Discounts purchases by scanning and redeeming coupons. Supervises thecleanliness of the front of club member servicing areas. Ability tonavigate within system applications. Utilize online task managementsystem (MyWork) to manage workflow, track, and monitor daily cluboperations. Performs other duties as assigned, including working inother departments as needed. Maintains all club policies and procedures.Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of thisjob.
