　　DESCRIPTION OF WORKAs part of this position, you will play a vital role in managing forest diseases and insects. This includes conducting surveys, as well as creating detailed maps. Additionally, you will be involved in the planning, execution, and reporting of experimental projects across the state. Your responsibilities will also involve establishing monitoring sites, deploying traps, and analyzing monitoring results. Furthermore, you will be responsible for preparing various reports and records and assisting with any other necessary tasks.

　　Work Schedule and Additional Information:This is a seasonal, full-time position without benefits. The season runs from approximately March until November at which the employee is placed on leave without pay.Position is generally four 10-hour shifts, Monday - Thursday, starting time could be from 6:30 AM to 8:00 AMOvertime and travel as neededTelework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 2 days per pay period. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. 　　QUALIFICATIONSMinimum Experience and Training Requirements:An associate's degree in forest technology; orCompletion of equivalent formal education in forestry.

　　Conditions of Employment:This position requires possession of a valid PA non-commercial Class C driver's license or equivalent.Other Requirements:is currently waived for this title.You must be able to perform essential job functions.
