Shop Forman (Truck Fleet Operations)

　　We are looking for a Shop Foreman to guide a team of two. performing preventive maintenance and repairs on a wide variety of equipment and trucks at our New Rochelle headquarters.

　　This position requires a hands on manage, who is a self starter and accustomed to working in a fast paced, high priority position.

　　To be successful in this role you must be physically and mentally fit and have a strong mechanical aptitude,. You should also have knowledge and skills needed to perform basic maintenance and repairs. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail with excellent communication skills. Our business experiences seasonal peaks, and as a result, you should be available and willing to work overtime when necessary.

　　Responsibilities include:

　　· Work in a shop setting and out in the field, performing repairs to a wide variety of heavy and light trucks and equipment.

　　· Troubleshoot issues.

　　· Perform preventative maintenance services as necessary.

　　· Work closely with the fleet manager to maintain the shop, equipment, parts etc..

　　· Drive within the tri-state area as necessary to perform repairs or maintenance in the field.

　　Requirements

　　·Experience working on diesel equipment and road vehicles.

　　· Understanding of hydraulics systems. Experience with Bucket Trucks, Chippers and Spray equipment is a plus.

　　· Experience with diagnostic tools.

　　· Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical systems.

　　· Comprehend service manuals, blueprints, and schematics.

　　· Maintain detailed records of services performed.

　　· Must provide own basic tool set.

　　· Ability to lift 50 lbs.

　　· Strong attention to detail.
