About Foreman

Job Title: Crew Lead $25-$35hr

Responsibilities

Assist the Operations Manager with daily project operations.

Advise on facility operation and maintenance.

Coordinate with staff, contractors, and vendors.

Ensure compliance with all applicable permits.

Spend time in the field facilitating projects.

Work with landowners, customer representatives, and engineers.

Visit project sites before, during, and after production to gather information and determine project feasibility.

Help implement continuous improvement processes to enhance operational and maintenance strategies.

Increase cost-avoidance, maximize revenue, increase uptime, and decrease response time.

Perform other duties of a similar nature as assigned.

Essential Skills

Project management

Construction supervision

Hand tool usage

1+ year experience as a crew lead/foreman/superintendent

1+ year experience as a heavy equipment operator (e.g., end loader, skid loader, Ag tractor, dozer)

Commercial construction

Carpentry

General contractor experience

Construction management

Additional Skills Qualifications

Demonstrated skill in assessing and determining necessary resources for work programs.

Critical thinking and strategic planning skills, including long- and short-term goal setting.

Experience applying project management and planning techniques.

Ability to effectively interpret technical information for non-technical audiences.

Excellent presentation skills with the ability to communicate a compelling vision.

Ability to communicate with tact and diplomacy and respond to politically sensitive inquiries.

Demonstrated skill in team building and working with others to achieve common goals.

Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.

Basic record keeping and email usage.

Experience in construction, heavy equipment operating, or agriculture preferred.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.

Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
