GREENFIELD Food Service Cook Job Description DUTIES: Prepare same-daymeal service for up to 1000 students daily Prepare for next day serviceas needed (i.e. safely thawing food items) Operate commercial kitchenequipment safely and as directed Follow strict food safety protocolsFollow strict portion control and nutrition guidelines for all foodsFill out daily production records Assist Cafeteria Lead with orderingand inventory Any other duties as assigned by the managers or thedirector QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to work without constant supervisionServSafe certified, or be able to pass the exam within one year Abilityto follow large-batch recipe directions and adhere to nutritionalguidelines Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast pacedenvironment Ability to maintain good working relationships with studentand staff Ability to lift fifty (50) pounds using proper lifting;varying - Such reasonable alternatives as deemed acceptable At least 2years of relevant experience preferred High School/Trade School degreepreferred Citizenship, residency or work VISA in United States requiredSALARY: As per negotiated contract and based on experience.
