Patrick Commissary Deli/Bakery Position Now Available

　　Position requires the following:- Food service experience requested.

　　Deli/Bakery Associate (Food Service Worker) position will consist of, but not limited to the following responsibilities:- Provides customer service by greeting and acknowledging customers, identifying customer needs, assisting with purchase decisions, locating merchandise, resolving customer issues and concerns, and promoting the Company's products.- Ensures the work area is maintained in a clean and sanitary condition in accordance with Company policy and all applicable health regulations on an ongoing basis.- Adheres to all personal hygiene standards and sanitation procedures, and maintains personal appearance in accordance with Company policy as well as IG, MFI, FDA, DeCA and local installation requirements and regulations.- Perform duties requiring work for short periods of time being inside a walk-in cooler and/or walk-in freezer, temperatures will range from -10 degrees below 0 to 40 degrees above 0; protective cold weather clothing will be furnished.- Frequently walk, talk, stand, sit, bend, stoop, and use eyes, hands and fingers to see and feel objects and operate tools and equipment including slicers, ovens, wrapping machines, knives, utensils, scales and related equipment.- Lift up to 50 lbs. regularly, load, unload and stock food products and supplies and to frequently lift and/or manipulate products, supplies and containers weighing less than 20 lbs.- Process and retain information regarding products, pricing, customer orders, directions, etc.- Withstand frequent exposure to cooked and raw food products including meats, cheeses, breads, oils, and spices.- Unconventional Work Schedule may apply when deemed necessary by higher management.- Works various schedules and hours including days, nights, weekends and overtime as required.- Perform mathematical calculations involving, weights, measures, money and time and other related information.- Due to the nature of the job, English communication skills are required to understand Company policies, safety rules, procedures, and instructions, for operating department equipment and tools.- Communicate with customers, supervisors and co-workers verbally and in writing and to articulate information.- Meet and maintain required food handling certifications and requirements for access to military facilities, where applicable.- Follow directions and comply with Company and facility policies, procedures and regulations, and to work cooperatively with other employees and supervisors.- Gain and maintain access to the installation by taking background checks required by installation.- Performs other duties as may be assigned.
