Location of Work: Hollywood, SC $150 per diem

Aerotek is hiring WELDERS (and fitters) for a large site in HOLLYWOOD, SC.

Welding is all Flux Core and Pulse. Must also be able to read welding blueprint and assist in fitting.

Starting pay is based on your weld test results, years of experience, and overall communication throughout the process.

Qualifications:

Proficient in Flux core and Pulse Welding (Minimum 3 years experience in both - No Exceptions)

Must be able to structural fit as well

Minimum 3-5 years of welding experience using Flux and Pulse welding techniques

Ability to read and understand blueprints

Attention to detail

Responsibilities:

Joins, fabricates, and repairs metal and other weldable material by applying appropriate welding techniques (Flux, MIG, Pulse)

Interprets blueprints, specifications, diagrams or schematics to determine appropriate welding process.

Inspect completed welds to determine structural soundness and quality.

Maintain a safe and clean environment

Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment.

Additional Information:

Shift schedule is 4 x 10/hr shifts (Monday - Thursday) - Most likely will be on the 2nd shift after training (3:30pm-2am)

Overtime is offered in 8 hour shifts on Friday and Saturday
