About Flow Operator

  Description

  The Central Operations Team is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Logistics Specialist to support Central Flow initiative for Amazon Logistics in North America. A successful candidate will prioritize managing the customer experience and communicating with internal Amazon teams to deliver on operational objectives while being able to thrive in an ambiguous environment.

  This role primarily supports our overnight operations.

  Key Responsibilities:

  Coordinate the workflow of order across multiple processes.

  Manage flow across multiple delivery stations.

  Be responsible for communication with Operations Managers and Area Managers and escalation of any Customer Experience risk, SLA failure risk, or deviation from Standard Work.

  Act as an advisor to the DS (Delivery Stations) operations and senior operations team based on their holistic view of work flow throughout the DS.

  Facilitate communication between multiple areas of the operation at the DS.

  Execute flow operations and communicate the Customer Experience risks and performance opportunities to DS operations in a standardized manner.

  We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

  Tempe, AZ, USA

  Basic Qualifications

  1+ years of working with computers and Microsoft Office (including Outlook, Word, and Excel) experience

  High school or equivalent diploma

  Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required

  Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays

  Are 18 years of age or older

  Preferred Qualifications

  Strong computer skills, including experience with transportation management systems and Microsoft Office

  Good teamwork mentality and ability to build trustworthy and supportive working relationships

  Strong logical thinker with analytical and problem solving skills

  2+ years of experience in customer support and/or distribution operations or transportation/dispatch

  Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment

  A history of meeting/exceeding departmental goals Strong leadership skills Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment, create project plans, and meet deadlines

  Experience leading projects and helping your team achieve goals

  Track record of taking ownership and driving results

  Strong writing skills

  Experience communicating with a diverse audience
