Job Overview
Plan the materials, quantities, and priority order of manufacturing jobs within the plant
A Day In The Life
Follow the travelers for the week's schedule for adherence
Communicate with the Leads / Supervisors on machine issues, material issues etc
Bring back travelers that cannot be run based off of issues.
To release orders and be able to handle the planning side if I am out
Communicate with Team Members on what is priority for Direct Ships so he can kit them correctly
Place weekly schedules on the work centers for Production to have a visual of what they should be running and what is next
Populate the shipments for report (If needed )
Work with continuous improvement when needed
What will help you thrive in this role?
SAP experience preferred.
Lean experience preferred.
Ability to analyze current processes and pro-actively make improvements on a day-to-day basis in addition to collaborating on larger changes within the plant.
