Job Summary Provides professional critical care, focusing on the episode of care for complex patients with unpredictable outcomes being transported by air or ground ambulance. This position involves integration of in-depth pathophysiologic concepts and utilization of knowledge of pharmacology and advanced skills along with critical care thinking and independent decision making in order to enhance the care of the critically ill or severely injured patient in the unique environments of air medical and ground transport. Completion of an approved paramedic course • Minimum 5 years paramedic experience • Active CT, MA Paramedic license required prior to start date • ACLS, PALS, and CPR certifications required prior to start date • Flight Paramedic Certification (FP-C) required within one year of hire.
