Job Summary:
The Director position is accountable for the development and delivery of company strategies that have a major impact on the financial health of Estes, identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities to ensure revenue, service goals and internal/external customer obligations are met. The Director shares accountabilities with another Director and they are as follows and not all inclusive: Fuel, Analytics, Licensing, Permits, Training, Special projects, Shop performance and Maps, Solution Center, Warranty, Tires, Parts, New Equipment Purchase, and Chop shop (Fleet Services salvage). These positions work collaboratively and with key stakeholders across Estes. The successful candidate will understand Fleet Service equipment, systems and service needs with the leadership ability to identify, build and implement strategies. The candidate must have a meticulous focus on Fleet Service priorities with a strong analytical ability and communication skills in a fast paced environment. Process and project management skills are extremely important with the ability to follow up and measure effectiveness with key stakeholders and customers.
Lead, guide and direct Fleet Services employees to include setting targets, hiring, training, monitoring performance, providing coaching, counseling and development, processing terminations with follow up on timely task completion.
Develop and deliver company strategies for Fleet Services equipment, e.g., tractors, trailers, parts, systems, service needs. Implement, analyze, track and monitor to ensure revenue, service goals, and internal/external obligations with Estes’ business partners are met. Manage delivery of service level requirements across departments, process and project implementations to include development of key metrics and effective measurements with key stakeholders and customers.
Develop and implement department processes and procedures to enhance productivity, quality and customer satisfaction. Accountable for communications of all processes and procedures to key stakeholders across the Estes network, as appropriate
Collaborates with vendors to maintain and build relationships for the facilitation of Estes’ purchase requirements of all Fleet Services products. Accountable for monitoring, tracking, and reporting on all purchases and related cost
Provide research, analyses, reporting and solution implementations for continuous improvements and share with key stakeholders as appropriate
Resolve issues escalated internally and externally with Estes business partners to ensure timely resolution and maintenance and enhancement of positive working relationships

Qualifications:
Strong Fleet Services equipment, products, process and systems knowledge required
Travel is required based on the needs of the business
Working knowledge and experience with Fleet Services products and services procurement preferred
Strong analytical skills with ability to analyze data, draw conclusions, problem solve and implement preferred
Budget and P&L experience preferred
Strong process and project management skills preferred
Ability to develop metrics preferred
Familiarity with AS400 LTL and asset maintenance software (TMT) functions
Working knowledge of Fleet Services equipment, e.g., trucks, trailers, parts, systems, service needs
Ability to network and collaborate with key stakeholders, internally and externally to Estes
Experienced and proficient in Microsoft office
Must be self-directed with a strong work ethic and flexibility in work schedule
Must be able to lift approximately 20 lbs., or more if required by the essential functions of the job
Must be able to comply with all company policies, rules, procedures and Code of Conduct
Must be able to interact well with others
Must be able to work independently, or in a team setting
Must be capable of working under tight time constraints in a high volume environment with multiple priorities
Responds well to questions; Ability to read, interpret and comply with written information and documents such as safety rules, operations / procedure manuals and maintenance instructions with a high comprehension and concentration level to include the ability to meet deadlines
Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, random drug and/or alcohol tests, and will be subject to a criminal history background check
Must be authorized to work in the United States
