As our Fleet Maintenance Mechanic I, you will: Routine trailerinspections that come through inspection bay. Monthly tractorinspections. Train on preventive maintenance on trailers. Train on tirerepairs and achieve certification. Train on minor preventive maintenanceon tractors. Train to understand basics of a refrigeration unit. Trainto understand basic electrical systems on equipment. Train to operateCompany vehicles at terminal only. Work in an efficient, timely,accurate, safe, and professional manner in accordance with all companypolicies, including all OSHA, DOT, and other governmental standards andregulations. Perform miscellaneous duties: building maintenance, snowremoval, yard maintenance, etc. NOTE: this description is not intendedto be all-inclusive. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications (Required): Must be 18years of age or older. Must be able to work in the United States withoutsponsorship. Must be able to work in a variety of work temperatureswarm, hot, humid, cold, wet or with slippery surfaces at varied heightsin and around moving equipment and parts with the use of personalprotective equipment (PPE). Must be able to perform the job duties withor without reasonable accommodations. Achieved, or Actively in highschool working to achieve, High School diploma or GED. Achieved orActively seeking to achieve a driver\'s license. Mechanical aptitude.Must begin to furnish own hand tools. Ability to operate all shopequipment and Company vehicles.
