Pepper Construction provides clients the experience and resources of a national company, combined with the hands-on approach of a local company.RESPONSIBILITIES:As a Laborer you may perform any combination of tasks to assist on the construction site. This position performs a wide variety of duties and tasks that often require them to assist other trades people including carpenters.Loading, unloading, and moving materials from within or near the construction site from pallets, skids, trucks, or other locations.Move materials to or from storage or work sitesDriving equipment as neededSelective demolition, concrete placement or flaggingProficient in stacking and assembling materials into bundlesMaking simple repairs and adjustments to machinery or trucksWork independently and with little directionHave initiative to find work activities when waiting for next task directiveAssist Carpenter's general partition layout, framing, sheet rock installation and other rough and finish carpentry work as assignedBuild temporary protection including barricades, visqueen, floor protection, etc.General clean-up including vacuuming, sweeping, and rubbish removalSelective demolition of non-load bearing walls, ceilings, and flooring material and clean up of all demolition debrisOther duties as assignedREQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:Relevant experience in commercial construction, preferred.OSHA 10, preferred.Operator's certificate, preferred.Ability to lift/push/pull up to 100 lbs.Detail-oriented, well-organized, and ability to multi-task.Task-oriented, reliable, and committed to meeting deadlines.Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Flexible availability, including some overtime, weekends, and night shifts.Pepper Construction is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.Please note: Pepper does not sponsor work visas.Other detailsJob FamilyField - Self PerformPay TypeHourlyCincinnati, OH, USAShare this job:Pepper Construction is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer.
