Overview

　　Supporting the Financial Systems team as a super user and administrator who has the ability to maintain and create efficiencies primarily in Hyperion EPBCS, including appropriate execution of system administrative changes and updates, maintaining and monitoring data integrity and security, ensuring appropriate access and segregation of duties, and creating and maintaining complete and accurate standard and custom EPBCS reporting relied on for key corporate reporting. Working under moderate supervision, must be able to complete/understand complex financial analysis that may impact more than one functional group within Paychex.

　　Responsibilities

　　Ensures financial reporting data integrity and accuracy by maintaining appropriate hierarchies, business rules, roll-ups, and data sets.Completes reconciliations of financial data in problem solving and maintenance of financial systems to ensure accuracy of financial data.Monitors transactional activity loading from general ledger into Hyperion for appropriate flexfield combinations, validation, and cross-validation compliance.Creates procedures and processes to ensure integrity of financial data.Assists with projects, including procedural changes and system implementations, to enhance the financial reporting and capabilities.Opens and closes accounting and planning periods within Hyperion, ensuring proper system cut off and archiving between periods.Utilizes financial systems to retrieve and analyze data, conduct research, and interpret findings that have financial impact.Supports annual data swap/restatement process.Other duties assigned such as supporting the Financial Planning & Analysis process for a smaller unit.

　　Qualifications

　　Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Finance - Preferred3 years of experience in Hyperion/Essbase.3 years of experience in SQL or language.Ability to analyze and interpret financial data.Demonstrates written communication skills.Articulate and responsive to colleagues.Ability to simultaneously handle multiple priorities.Assumes personal responsibility for actions.Possesses a high degree of initiative.Demonstrates a high level of accuracy, even under pressure.Possesses strong technical aptitude.

　　Compensation

　　In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share that the starting base pay range for this position is $52,010 - $81,730 annually. Please keep in mind that this range is the base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position. If you are hired at Paychex, your overall compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
