Purpose Responsiblefor all billing and collection for an assigned clinical trial portfolio.Track and manage all Clinical Trial Office (CTO) heldstudy expenses andrevenue, includingexternal clientbilling, and associatedreceivables.Perform financial and business-related analysis of activeclinical trials. Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports andmonitor daily financials of clinical trial research/grant accounts.Primary Functions Serves as primary financial contact to FroedtertHospital Office of Clinical Research and Innovative Care Compliance(OCRICC), MCW Sponsored Programs staff, clinical research managers andcoordinators, and Sponsor representatives related to clinical trialfinances to identify, track, approve and resolve billing issues relatedto conduct of clinical research. Monitors clinical trial-relatedexpenses to ensure within the approved study budget and identifiesbillable items of the clinical trial agreement for appropriate billingof the trial Sponsor and recovery of associated revenue.AssistsCCBusiness FinanceAnalyst and CC Business Manager with financialmanagement of clinical trialsidentifying mechanisms to maximizereimbursement of clinical trial expenses. Actively manage and pursuecollection of all aged receivables for the assigned portfolio. Assistwith clinical trial account close-out process by ensuring all billableitems have been invoiced. Train and work with Finance Team toeffectively implement OnCore Financials into the operational managementof the clinical trials office, including but not limited to,finalfinancial builds and associated Sponsor billing management.
