Asa Financial Sales Manager at First Citizens Bank, you will manage salesefforts and associates in a branch location and oversee branchoperations, with the support of an operations specialist. The roleprimarily engages in outbound calling activities to generate newbusiness opportunities and may occasionally partner with a business orcommercial banker to provide expertise around business deposits andrelated services. Responsibilities Sales - Achieve individual and/orteam financial, production and relationship results relative to thespecific metrics and goals assigned. Engage with customers, prospectsand referral sources through proactive outreach. Represent the Bank inthe community for the purpose of generating additional business andidentifying potential CRA opportunities for the Bank. Team Management -Manage performance and personnel functions for a team, ensuringoperational soundness while executing on a plan to deliver results thatcreate value for the customer and meet the financial expectations of thebank. Drive accountability to role expectations, responsibilities andauthorities, providing one on one feedback and coaching that supportsassociate development and achievement of results. Regularly andproactively leverage the expertise of bank partners, other managers orteam. Service Standards - Foster collaborative partnerships that delivervalue for customers, prospects and colleagues. Initiate conversation touncover sales or referral opportunities. Operations and Administration-Comply with all regulations, bank policies, procedures and delegatedauthorities to manage risk related to credit, operational, reputational,regulatory and legal aspects of personal interactions, customertransactions and financial exposures. Qualifications Bachelor degreewith a minimum of 2 years experience in a sales, customer service,lending or financial services role, including supervisory experience. -Or - High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 6 years experience ina sales, customer service, lending or financial services role, includingsupervisory experience.
