Citi’s EMEA Regulatory Reporting Centre in Budapest is a key part of Finance function of Citigroup. It is Citi’s pioneering centre on a global scale where local regulatory reporting professionals work together in a central location, to ensure consistent quality of local regulatory reporting.
The role of the Financial Reporting Senior Manager is to ensure that countries in EMEA that have migrated their banking regulatory reporting and controls to the Regulatory Reporting Team in Budapest are fully compliant with the Financial Rules and regulations of their respective regulators and they operate with the same standard operational model across all countries.
In this position you will use and expand your experience and professional skills for the following responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the preparation of the daily, monthly and quarterly reports;
Team management of 10-15; responsibilities include recruitment, goal setting, performance evaluation;
Ongoing review and development of current processes to increase efficiency
Drive process migrations from country teams to the Statistical team and ensure the implementation of the standard operational model
Identify best practices for reporting processes and controls and implement across multiple countries / processes
Drive interaction with country teams and cluster reporting & control leads
Responsible for implementation of all key controls and compliance with local/regional/global policies
Coach supervisors of individual sub-teams.
The ideal candidate for this position preferably possesses the following qualifications and skills:
University/College graduate in Accounting/Finance
Fluent English speaker
Minimum 10 years of experience in Accounting or financial reporting or audit roles
Team management experience
Advanced MS Excel user
Highly motivated with advanced analytical and interpersonal skills.
