Description Robert Half is looking for a skilled Financial Analyst to be part of a thriving company. In this position, you will conduct financial modeling on various financial products as well as have responsibility for measuring, analyzing, and forecasting performance in conjunction with operating plans. You will be charged with advising management on the allocation of resources to accomplish objectives in a timely manner and preparing reports for management. As part of a dynamic team, you will be a key business partner in areas including forecasting, performance reporting, and expense management. This Financial Analyst role is a long-term contract / temporary employment opportunity in the Miami, Florida, area. Analyze performance to date and assess potential risks and opportunities
Work closely with Accounting on the monthly and quarterly financial close process
Ideal candidate would have an adaptable nature and experience dealing with vast amounts of information while exceeding expectations
Support contacts in Accounting and Operations to execute business plans
Track monthly and quarterly performance through comparison of actuals versus expectations and enable business partners to handle their resources
Lead monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and actions required
Enable effective Business Intelligence (BI) to provide forward-looking insight and decision support
Authenticate routine Area/Segment-level Bookings and P& L forecasting
Compile and supervise forecasting reports
Participate in planning with senior executives on strategic deep dives by developing financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, Campaign Planning & Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, event tracking and execution, strategic resource allocation, and prioritization
Perform extensive research on the underlying internal and external drivers that are affecting performance and trending Requirements - Reporting experience

Solid understanding of Microsoft Office Suites
Planning experience preferred
Proven knowledge of About Time
Firm understanding of problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)
Excellent verbal, written, and social skills
Excellent problem-solving skills
BA/BS degree in finance or a related field
Prior knowledge in Spreadsheet and ERP system
Understanding of Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tools required
Financial planning & analysis (go-to-market experience ideal)
Outstanding communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written, and ability to build as well as deliver effective presentations
