ABOUT THIS POSITION
KBR requires a Financial Manager, located in the Dayton, OH, area to support the Simulators Division of the Air Combat Systems Directorate. This organization acquires and modernizes training systems to enhance lethality and readiness sharpening the warfighters bite.
This candidate will support and advise the WNS Division located at Wright-Patterson AFB. The candidate must work well with a widely-dispersed team and be assertive in capturing key inputs and data to incorporate into various products on a daily basis. The candidate must also have excellent communication skills (written, verbal and active listening). Proficiency with developing presentations (PowerPoint) and written documents for executive-level review and consumption is a must. The candidate must be comfortable working in a very dynamic, fluid environment and enjoy problem solving.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Support the planning, programming, budgeting, and execution processes of the Simulators Division by aiding all program managers in balancing financial plans and monitoring program execution.
Provide program and technical expertise to the Simulators Division by providing financial, and professional support to include financial operations, planning, analysis, filing, and reporting.
Develop and reconcile funding execution reports for program dollars, including balancing end of month reports.
Using Microsoft Office suite of applications/tools to develop and publish products for senior executive review, coordination and approval.
Processing program funding documents, developing budget (near-term and long-term) and spend plans (phasing of commitments, obligations, and expenditures), analyzing contractor and government cost reports, and tracking temporary duty (TDY) travel costs and provides actual vs. estimated cost.
Use several financial data tracking and reporting applications such as CPAS, BQ, JOCAS, MOCAS, ABSS, CRIS, CCaR, Clarity and SDW.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS :
Master's degree
8+ years of relevant experience required
DoD Clearance Requirement: Secret, upgrade to TS will be required
Financial Management Certification Level II
Self-starter with excellent communication skills is a must.
Engaging with customers at both working and senior levels
Have the ability to support the customer on-base, five days a week
The Candidate will have to show practical and demonstrated financial management skills with the team and with the following required skills:

Candidate must possess strong computer skills and must be proficient with Microsoft Office Applications
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience working in the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center or other DoD organization is required
