Job Description

　　Responsible for collecting and analyzing student data.

　　 Perform monthly account reconciliations of student accounts and provide information that allows any issues to be fixed.

　　 Analyze and reconcile funding reports in comparison to attendance verification information to ensure timely and complete distributions.

　　 Maintain analysis of over/underpayment of funding from the Department of Education for the Family Empowerment Scholarship for Educational Opportunities Program.

　　 Analyze metrics related to reimbursement review pipeline to identify and resolve bottlenecks.

　　 Supports other members of the accounting team with invoicing and payments.

　　 Interface with Manager of Financial Systems, Senior Manager, Enterprise Systems and Reporting, Program Accounting Manager and Accounts Payable Manager on various analyses to ensure proper payment of program funds

　　 Develop understanding of Program Accounting processes to analyze and suggest improvements.

　　 Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications

　　Skills and Requirements

　　Bachelors degree in finance or business

　　 5 years of finance / accounting / data analysis experience

　　 Significant exposure to large data sets

　　 Strong analytical skills

　　 Advanced Excel skills - Vlookups, V&Hlookups, if then statements, data analysis and consolidation tools, pivot tables

　　 Ability to analyze and improve work processes and policies Experience with ERP systems to include data management tools and queries is a plus.
