Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Financial Data Analyst in CHICAGO, Illinois. The individual will be part of our team, where they will be responsible for analyzing financial data, developing automated systems for data analysis, and leveraging data-driven insights to drive decision-making and business strategy.
Responsibilities:
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
• Use data mining techniques to extract valuable insights from large datasets.
• Develop and maintain data visualization tools to represent data in a comprehensive and accessible manner.
• Utilize software tools such as OpenAir, Microsoft Excel, and Workday to facilitate data analysis tasks.
• Collaborate with the team to understand data needs and deliver solutions accordingly.
• Use Maps API to geo-visualize data for improved geographic understanding of market trends.
• Utilize AB Test for validating data-driven hypotheses and influencing business strategies.
• Conduct regular data quality checks and ensure all data is accurate and up-to-date.
• Assist in making data-driven decisions to drive business strategy and success.
• Use Informatica for data integration, data quality, and data governance tasks. Requirements • Possession of a bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the finance industry.
• Proficiency in financial data analysis and statistical tools.
• Demonstrable experience with software applications such as OpenAir, Microsoft Excel, and Workday.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Adept at queries, report writing, and presenting findings.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proactive problem-solving skills and a strong sense of initiative.
• High ethical standards and professionalism, with a commitment to confidentiality.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
• Fluent in English.
• Legally authorized to work in the country the job is located.
