　　Come join our Patient Access team in Financial Counseling at Trinity Health Of New England

　　Position Purpose

　　This position is responsible for reviewing financial/insurance information obtained to meet State, Federal and Third-Party billing requirements and to ensure reimbursement for services. Must satisfy admission notice requirements with pre-certification and HMO companies to avoid payment penalties.

　　What you will do

　　Responsible for reviewing financial/insurance information obtained to meet State, Federal and Third-Party billing requirements and to ensure reimbursement for services

　　Must satisfy admission notice requirements with pre-certification and HMO companies to avoid payment penalties.

　　Reviews and processes Self Pay patients for government assistance, arranges for financial agreements for hospital and Anesthesia and solicits payment for non-covered services

　　Must edit, update and file all new information gathered for each admission and assists patients with billing related inquiries.

　　Minimum Qualifications

　　High School Graduate, some college experienced preferred

　　2-3 years Patient Accounting, Financial Counseling. Knowledge of billing regulations helpful.

　　Knowledge of Medical Terminology preferred
