Job Summary :

Primary Responsibilities and Job Duties:
· Monitor and analyze the company's financial expenditure, identifying areas for optimization and cost reduction.
· Collaborate with various departments to understand and manage budgetary requirements.
· Work closely with IT and technical teams to optimize costs associated with cloud services and infrastructure.
· Implement strategies to maximize cost efficiency in cloud utilization.
· Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
· Provide regular reports and insights to management on financial performance.
· Assist in the development of financial forecasts and budgets.
· Track actual performance against budgeted figures and provide explanations for variances.
· Evaluate vendor contracts and agreements to ensure cost-effectiveness.
· Negotiate with vendors to secure favorable terms and pricing.
· Implement and utilize FinOps tools and automation to streamline financial processes.
· Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in FinOps.
· Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
· Participate in audits and support the finance team in maintaining accurate financial records.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
Proven experience in financial analysis, cost management, or related roles.
Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and understanding of cloud cost models.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools.
Knowledge of FinOps principles.
Preferred Qualifications
Certification in FinOps or related areas.
Certification in cloud services (e.g., AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner).
Technical background or experience working closely with IT and technical teams.
Experience in implementing FinOps tools and automation to streamline financial processes.
Project management skills for handling complex financial projects.
Demonstrated leadership skills or experience leading cross-functional teams.
