　　As part of our team at Marmaxx, you will oversee the merchandise margin components for a multibillion dollar business. Additionally, you will manage a team of Financial Analysts & Senior Financial Analysts to assist Senior Leadership with driving business decisions. Day-to-day, you will have the opportunity to drive strategic decisions for the leading off-price retailer in the world.

　　A successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously that will be reviewed by Senior Executives. Further, thinking critically, analyzing effectively and communicating efficiently is required.

　　Responsibilities include:

　　Manage the processes and activities of the Reporting team to ensure effective, efficient and accurate forecasting & analytics of the merchandise margin componentsOversee & perform financial forecasting & reporting with excellent attention to detail, ensuring deadlines are metPartner with senior merchants to provide insight into profit and retail trendsPerform analysis to provide relevant Executive-level guidance on business performance and areas of risk and opportunityOversee and deliver financial updates to CFO, Chief Merchant & PresidentWork on various ad-hoc analysis to drive profitability & increase efficienciesManage and mentor associates on training and professional developmentBuild relationships with partners across the business, such as Logistics, Merchandising & parallel finance groupsPlay a leadership role on projects & new initiativesDeliver strategy and recommendations on various initiatives across all levels of ManagementDeliver presentations with strong messaging and recommendations to senior leadershipResponsible for review of standard reporting with strong attention to detail

　　Requirements:

　　Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or related fieldAt least 5 years of experience working in a business planning and/or finance environmentPrior experience leading teams in a dynamic, fast paced environmentStrong communication skills with an ability to acquire and analyze information and draw business solutionsPrior experience with leading a team in enhancing use of data visualization tools like Power BIAble to concisely and effectively deliver insights, recommendations, and results to Executive Level managementAbility to prioritize tasks, work on multiple engagements and manage constantly evolving assignments in a team environmentExcellent quantitative and analytical skills, and reporting on large amounts of dataHigh level of curiosity to explore, learn and understand business informationExcellent attention to detailProficient PC skills: Microsoft Office Excel & Power BI; Alteryx experience is a plus
